The rain let up just long enough Thursday morning for a dry overturning of dirt at the official groundbreaking for the Scribner-Snyder Youth Sports Complex.
"Six women started a plan to respond to the community concerns at our ball field," said Deb Eggleston, Scribner economic development coordinator, said of the Scribner chapter of the Nebraska Community Improvement Program.
